Ma ho verificato che non lo era. Quindi mi sono messo all'opera per creare il mio primo caleidoscopio.
Anche tu puoi fare il tuo con questo tutorial! Basta avere sotto mano pochi materiali da reciclare, che potrai trovare facilmente in casa, e seguire le istruzioni passo per passo per fare il tuo proprio caleidoscopio in casa.

Materiale necessario per costruire un caleidoscopio in casa
Hai bisogno del seguente materiale che puoi reciclare:
- Un tubo di cartone di circa 5 cm di diametro e 20 cm di lunghezza. Se non trovi uno adeguato, puoi costruirlo con una scatola di cartone che trovi in casa.
- Tre specchi rettangolari di circa 3x18 cm. Non serve comprarli, di sicuro avrai dei CD che non usi più.
- Perline colorate. Puoi anche tagliare delle piccole forme di vari colori di acetato, che spesso si trovano dei pacchi dei prodotti.
- Tre cerchi di acetato trasparente da 5 cm di diametro o del diametro del tubo.
- Un cerchio di cartone da 5 cm di diametro, con una perforazione centrale di 1 cm di diametro.
- Nastro adesivo per unire e sostenere gli specchi.
- Colla universale, adatta ad aderire a diversi tipi di superficie del caleidoscopio.
- Carta decorativa o colorata. Puoi usare pagine di riviste, che sono belle e hanno una carta abbastanza resistente.
Istruzioni passo per passo per fare un caleidoscopio
- Passo 1. Forma un prisma triangolare di specchi. Incolla il nastro adesivo i 3 rettangoli del CD, con il lato specchiato verso l'interno del prisma.
- Passo 2. Metti il prisma nel tubo di cartone. Portalo fino al lato opposto, facendo coincidere la base del prisma di specchi con la base del cilindro o tubo di cartone. Avvolgi il prisma con carta, per adattarlo bene e che non si muova nel tubo.
- Passo 3. Metti uno dei cerchi di acetato nell'interno del tubo sul lato opposto alla base. Incolla le pareti con la colla, giusto sopra il prisma. Tieni conto che visto che le basi coincidono, ti rimarranno circa 2 cm tra il bordo superiore del prisma e il bordo superiore del tubo di cartone.
- Passo 4. Metti le perline colorate sul circolo di acetato trasparente. Devono essere sufficienti per coprire tutta la superficie, ma non tante da ostacolarsi e non potersi muovere, né lasciar passare la luce.
- Passo 5. Attacca l'altro cerchio di acetato trasparente al bordo del tubo di cartone, per evitare che le perline scappino.
- Passo 6. Metti il terzo cerchio di acetato sul lato opposto del tubo di cartone e incollalo alla parete.
- Passo 7. Attacca il cerchio di cartone perforato al bordo del tubo di cartone, sopra il cerchio di acetato trasparente che hai appena messo.
- Passo 8. Fodera il tubo di cartone da fuori con carta decorativa, pagine di riviste o quello che preferisci.
